| Since opening in 1939 Birmingham International Airport has grown to serve over 9 million passengers per year, travelling to over 100 destinations around the world. The airport is located on the A45 (Birmingham - Coventry) trunk road off junction 6 of the M42. There are direct connections to the M1, M5, M6 and M40. The Airport is fully signposted on both the motorways and major trunk roads and is well marked on all good quality road maps. There are two terminals at Birmingham Airport. Terminal 1 is sometimes referred to as ‘The Main Terminal’ where as Terminal 2 is referred to as ‘The Eurohub’. Connection to both terminals is available via the fast, free and convenient Air-Rail Link direct from Birmingham International Station. |
